Founding Editor Ira Sukrungruang is the co-editor of the fat books What Are You Looking At? The First Fat Fiction Anthology and Scoot Over, Skinny: The Fat Nonfiction Anthology. His favorite candy is anything that has sour-sucking power and unhinges his jaw because of extreme gumminess.

Katherine Riegel

Founding Editor Katherine Riegel got her MFA from an institution in the Midwest, has published poems and essays in some cool places edited by awesome people, and believes that heaven is made of chocolate.

K.C. Wolfe

Founding Editor K.C. Wolfe is the skinniest fat man in these United States of America. He appreciates the unlikely excellence of the cuisine in Columbus, OH, where he's studying in the MFA program at The Ohio State University. His favorite Graeter's ice cream flavor is double chocolate chocolate chip.

Nick Mazzeo

Nick dons the hippest afro you'll see on a white boy. He'll rip up the joint with his spoken word lyrics, and can comfortably finish off a bowl of ice cream in milliseconds.

Candice Granata

Candice drinks only bottled water and steals her neighbor's internet connection so she can watch science documentaries and old episodes of Frasier.

Brandon Pettit

Brandon, better known as Pineapple, is one of the most accident-prone individuals in the world. When he is not writing poems in his furniture-less apartment, you can hear him sing his hellos and goodbyes.

Andrew Brogdon

Andrew left behind the mad-cap world of software development to become a poet. He's currently in the MFA program at Ohio State University, and writes his syntax errors on purpose now, thank you very much. His favorite sweet thing is whatever Chef Achatz wants to smear across the table.

Jon Chopan

Jon Dibbs Chopan is the loudest person in the world. When he isn't playing hockey or eating raw potatoes, he publishes work in such magazines as Glimmer Train, Swink, Redivider, Hotel Amerika, and The Disability Studies Quarterly. He is a goofy guy and often writes about being goofy. He drinks beer like an old golf pro.

Ruth Awad

Ruth Awad spends most of her time in the company of her two Pomeranians who are the queens of her heart. In addition to being a tattoo artist, she also teaches and works on her MFA in poetry at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. Her favorite sweet treat is vegan red velvet cake, but in a pinch, she'll happily settle for a handful of (dark) chocolate chips.

Melissa Carroll

Melissa dreams of swimming in a vat of chocolate pudding with a giant graham cracker for a raft, but will settle for cookies and beer any day. She teaches yoga and is currently in the MFA program at University of South Florida, where she is busy being enamored with words and sunlight.

Enaam Alnaggar

Enaam enjoys critiquing junk mail from a design perspective. When she’s not ranting about hideous color schemes and bad typography, she’s writing, snacking, or watching anime or Asian dramas. She prefers her desserts to be aesthetically pleasing.
